Dan Sclafani

is very proud to be a founding partner of Standing Room Only Theater Company. Our dream was to bring quality theater and instruction to the young people in our community and we are living that dream. After a satisfying 15 year stage career, he is overjoyed to be sharing his passion for theater with these wonderful and talented kids. Dan is a member of The Actor’s Equity Association (AEA), Screen Actor’s Guild (SAG) and earned his BA in Theater from Wagner College. He has had the privilege of performing in over 40 stage productions domestically and internationally as well as directing and musical directing. Dan also enjoys teaching private voice lessons to children and adults. Some favorite performing credits include: Guys & Dolls (national tour) - Nicely Nicely, Phantom of the Opera (national tour) - Raoul, Jesus Christ Superstar - both Jesus and Judas, Peter Pan - Mr. Smee, Dracula - Jonathan Harker, Man of La Mancha - Sancho, Equus - Alan Strang, Fiddler on the Roof - Perchik, A Funny Thing Happened on the Way to the Forum - Marcus Lycus, City of Angels - the Angel City Four. On television, Dan served as the live announcer for the Drama Desk Awards hosted by Tony Randall, has appeared in several commercials and made many promotional appearances for various projects. He has had the joy of sharing many moments performing opposite his wife including: South Pacific - Luther Billis and Bloody Mary, Phantom - Cholet and Carlotta, Madison Square Garden’s A Christmas Carol -a cappella carolers, Evita - Che and Evita, and Mr. Scrooge - the Fezziwigs. He received the NYC Backstage Bistro Award for Best Actor in a Musical for his performance in the multi-award winning production of Party of One which he co-produced with Eileen, who received the award for Best Actress. Dan's favorite role is Daddy to his daughters, Kirby and Kerry.
Eileen Fowler-Sclafani (Musical & Stage Direction/Co-Producer/Owner SRO Theater Company)
is delighted to be bringing her love of musical theater and her extensive stage experience to the youth of Dutchess County. While living in New York City, she spent decades working as a professional singer and actress. Among her many stage credits are: Eva Peron (EVITA), Carlotta (PHANTOM!), Bloody Mary (SOUTH PACIFIC), Magenta (THE ROCKY HORROR SHOW), Mrs. Fezziwig/Dilber (MR. SCROOGE) and a multitude of other shows, ranging from GODSPELL and JESUS CHRIST SUPERSTAR to PETER PAN and THE CANTERBURY TALES. She had the great fortune to star opposite a young Audra McDonald (6-time Tony Award winner) as the Housekeeper to Audra's Aldonza on tour in MAN OF LA MANCHA. One highlight of her theatrical career was being cast in the European tour of MY FAIR LADY starring Academy Award winner Maximilian Schell. Other tours and regional theater include INTO THE WOODS with Joanne Worley and John Bolton, CITY OF ANGELS with Barry “Greg Brady” Williams, THE MUSIC MAN with WKRP’s Gary Sandy, FIDDLER ON THE ROOF and LITTLE SHOP OF HORRORS with Eddie “Carmine the Big Ragu” Mekka, IRENE with George Irving and original cast members. She honed her vocal skills working on cruise ships singing alongside such promising young performers as: Idina Menzel, Christopher Sieber, Harold Perrineau and Sharon Wilkins and worked extensively in NYC cabaret. She was honored with the Back Stage Bistro Award for Best Actress from the Back Stage trade newspaper for her NYC cabaret show, PARTY OF ONE, in which she starred with her husband, Dan. In 1994 and 1995, she is proud to have been in the a cappella quartet in Madison Square Garden’s A CHRISTMAS CAROL starring Terrence Mann and Ben Vereen and Tony Randall, respectively. Her television work includes commercials, promotional appearances on Good Morning, America and Good Day, NY for Madison Square Garden’s A Christmas Carol, and a nationally televised singing of The National Anthem at a MSG’s NY Knicks game and NY Rangers game. In addition to SRO, she taught the international children’s music program, Music Together and was the director of her own center, Music Together of Beekman. Eileen was awarded Certification I from The Center for Music and Young Children in Princeton, for excellence in music and teaching and is an authority on early childhood music. She and her husband have directed 46 productions with Standing Room Only Theater Company over the past 16 years. Locally, Eileen is thrilled to be directing Gayhead Elementary's ALADDIN, Jr this fall after directing the delightful SHREK THE MUSICAL JR, THE LITTLE MERMAID, BEAUTY AND THE BEAST, PETER PAN AND LION KING, JR there the past 6 years. She also directed and musically directed SOUTH PACIFIC at Millbrook High School to rave reviews and shared her theater experience as a board member of The Community Children's Theater of Dutchess County. Other local credits: She was the Vocal Music Director for Union Vale Middle School's TARZAN (2015) PETER PAN (2016) & THE LITTLE MERMAID (2017). She and her husband Dan shared the role of Vocal Music Director for John Jay High School's HIGH SCHOOL MUSICAL, MARY POPPINS, URINETOWN, THE ADDAMS FAMILY, A YEAR WITH FROG AND TOAD AND NEWSIES. She also had the pleasure of serving as a Theatre Educator and Assistant Producer with Half Moon Theatre Company. Eileen received her Bachelor of Arts from Gettysburg College and is a member of the Actors Equity Association (AEA). In her “spare time,” she does private voice lessons/coaching. She is the proud wife of a very talented husband; Dan, and two very accomplished and talented daughters; Kirby and Kerry.
